As expected, my Jersey Woolie Doe had her bunnies! She had 3 tiny babies… Unfortunately, the smallest didn’t survive. The runt was so tiny, smaller than my thumb. It survived a day then I found it outside of the nest stiff and cold. I revived it, but it only lived a few more hours.

The good news is that the two surviving bunnies are simply thriving! They are getting their fur starting to come in… And they have adorable spots like their daddy!

Also, my French Doe started nesting today! Hopefully she will have a nice litter! After 5 failed breeding attempts I’m so happy she seems to have finally had success!

The bunnies should be ready just in time for a local fiber fair… I am excited to be able to handle them and train them to be friendly early on!
